Stage 3 Conversion 2wd Sapph
plz bare with me im new to this site..
i have a 2wd sapph. 205 block. fully re built 10k ago. it has low comp mahle pistons. hp oil pump. lightened and balanced. group a gasket. 3 bar map sensor. 803 greens. group a coil. level 8 ecu with stage 3 chip. t3 turbo hybrid with a standard actuator. running at 20 psi.
problem being smoking on idle, and after driving Heavily or normal it smokes me out.(Greyish on idle, Black on high rev) heavy smell of fuel. also seems to have a slight mis as i set off or accelerate very low revs just above idle.
any ideas on what the smoke is is it over fuel or ecu problem.....?
also i am wandering whether to cross loop the throttle sensor is this advisable and do i stick with the standard sensor or change it to a 4x4 sensor.....? [/b]

As you are using a L8, it needs a 4wd TPS, without a doubt, you then if you have not used a 4wd loom, need to cross over the outer two wires of the tps connector.
The black smoke is CHRONIC over fuelling but as you are using a std actuator, low boost this is what you will get, this will cause all manner of misses.
You need to know what boost it should be set to by whoever wrote the chip, also from them(in case it's different) FUEL PRESSURE/CO setting.
The fuel pressure is usually(but not always) the std pressure 3 bar with vac on, and CO is normally 2.5, but again not always.
The actuator you need is a -31.
