225/45/17 tyres on a 3dr?
can you fit 225/45/17 tyres on a 8x17 rim on the rear of a 3dr? would they rub at all,would they look to chunky

imo you'd be much better off going for a 40 profile m8 in terms of looks and rubbing issues.
