Default t38???

ive recently purchased a T38 (so ive been told)

its got the 63 exhaust housing, but the comp housing is the same as my T34 housing is it common for the T34 housing to be machined out to use the T38 wheel

i know the Turbo Technics are bigger!! have i been ripped off????

Really? i 've heard that also, i think you can squeeze a few more horses out of the TT one though. Mine should be around 440-450 when it's back from mapping..

I've heard a few people say that but haven't had any problems myself, i'm really really happy with it and it just pulls really hard all the way to the limiter!

when i was considering a spec change a while ago i was advised by my mapper to stay away from the TT one ,as it would deffo need a live map with air injectors to clean the surge up

In the sense that it's not the right spec turbo for the engine spec. Suffers from surge quite badly. The engine in his car would be far more suited to a T34.

As long as your engine is specced correctly then the TT T38 will be fine.
