Default Turbo recomendations???

I'm seriously considering getting a Garrett GT30R for my saff 4x4, does anyone have one of these fitted? There is a huge range of options as to how the turbo can be spec'd. I'm looking for over 400bhp but I want to retain as much drivability as possible i.e the engine coming on boost as early as possible, I also want to run an external wastegate.
What spec would be best to achive this?

Seen them from ballasticpower - http://cgi.ebay.ie/Garrett-GT3076R-T...QQcmdZViewItem
