Hello.

I have a question for you all that I dont find any answer to.

Cosworth 3dr with out sunroof, how many was build? And 3dr with no sunroof, is that called motorsport chassi?!

I hope some of you have a little clue or just a ca. number. I have one moonstoneblue my self, offcourse with no sunroof, first time reg. 11.02.1987. and would LOVE to know how many of thees that were produced...

All Right hand drive 3dr cosworths came with the sunroof hole from the factory, but in europe certain left hand drive cars had a lower spec option with no sunroof or electric windows/ central locking for the 3dr.

It does not mean its a motorsport shell, just a lower spec version.

It may though have had a shell change at some point over the last 20 years into a motorsport shell

Numbers wise I dont think anyone has that data anymore sorry

My 3dr got electric windows and central locking. Maybe Ford have some numbers?

Well, I did get a answer at least Just had a hope that some one had a clue of how many it is produced of each.. But this was news for me anyway, so thanks

If I´m not wrong all the RS cosworth 3door came with sunroof, english ones and european ones too.
What I think is you car is been re-shelled, maybe due to a crash.
Check your car documentation, if there was a re-shelled, sure there is a note on it.

I lived on mainland europe for 10 years and as far as i am aware ,the 3 door came with a sunroof every where.

hi,

mine have no sunroof
no electric window and no central locking
only the first cars that were build have this specs, the rest have all the electric stuff
ow mine drives in belgium

Well I guess you dont know everything then, as I have seen quite a few genuine ones without sunroof and minus electric windows and central locking.

Been discussed and confirmed many times before

the boreham motorsport shell dont have sunroofs if that is any help

my '86 moonstone 3door has power windows and locks and no sunroof.

I know for a fact that in europe you could get sierra 3door cos without central locking, electric windows and sunroof. This do to the fact a friend of mine got a non-sunroof one that we know the story of back to day one. never bent a panel, never had paint and one of about 30 originaly sold new in norway.

estas mal informado

Mine has no roof elec windows or central locking.
And it never had a reshell im the third owner and i spoke to the second and first owner of the car even with the sales man form the ford dealership who sold it in oct '86 and they all said the car was deliverd from new as it is now.
