Default few questions for everyone ecu mainly

i have a 2wd saff it has blue injectors a stainless exhaust, front mount intercooler k and n, the person at the mot station turned the screw on the ecu and has blown the resistor so now it overfuels more on idle, i had it rolling roaded and it has 200.7 hp, i want to know if i can plug and play another ecu, and what stage and type of ecu i need, will i need to upgrade the injectors, and how does a map sensor work? and do i need to change that as well, as u can see im not the best with cosworths, so help would be much appreciated thanks chris

i would put yellow injectors (standard 2wd) back in it as it has 4x4 ones at the minute. as for the ecu, yes you can put another in but make sure its the right level (yours will have L6). you could put a standard ecu in or a stage 1 chipped ecu. if you want any more than stage 1 you will need different injectors again, but personaly i would get used to driving stg1 before killing yourself with stg3 i'd sugest having it put back on the rollers to make sure everything is fine after you've fitted a new chip

A decent stage 1 will be 270 minimum, it does as said need sorting, what makes you think the ecu has a resistor that is blown ?
It also needs to work with the parts the chip was written for, in the case of stage 1 it will be -31 actuator, needed as without you will not get enough boost, and of course the chip, with decent plugs like AGPR12PP8.
Who's chip is it ?

as far as i know it has a standard ecu, the car is def overfuelling on idle so i can only think it could be the ecu, but im not 100%, thanks for advise.
