Sierra rear bumper removal
Hi there ive got a saff cossie n ive got a new bumper 2 put on my car. Ive snapped 3 40 mm torx bits trying 2 get the bolts out. Is there an easier way 2 remove the bumper. Ive got a funny feeling that i might have 2 grind the bolts out n put new bolts in my new bumper. Any help wud b nice.

Grind the bolt heads, then use new M4 grade stainless, M4 is the grade you want as it is MARINE GRADE, PUT IN WITH COPPASSLIP, end of problems, had to do this with my front bumper.

on the estates it's much easier as there is more felxability in the bumper brackets, but if you can get to the atual arm that goes into the bumper and cut back the foam you can normally remove the 2 torx bolts hidden away and remove the whole bumper to give you more access

don't grind the head off of the bolt
use the torx hole int he middle as a guide when you drill through the bolt
once you've got down enough and start upping the drill sizes the hear will come off eventually
start with a 3mm drill, then go up to a 6 and then an 8
