Default Have the answer for sagging headlining

Somebody on here was asking about saggy headlinings, I decided to solve the problem and took out the headlining and carefully removed the material, got one of my wifes sticky devices for removing hair and such like from clothes and cleaned off all the poxy red foam from everything. Then I got the wife to hand wash the headlining in cold water with a cold water mild detergent and then hung it out to dry. Result was sparkling new look with no creases and then used 3M super 77 spray on glue starting arond the sunroof and working outwards, lo and behold one new headlining, put it back in no probs. Has seen plenty of hot weather since, up to 36C and not a sign of it letting go. Just thought I would share the repair!

36C, we only get 3.6C!!
I use Halstead carpet spray to stick these, we used to use it to stick carpet upside down in horseboxes(living accomodation) for the riders.

what colour is your car?

at 36 deg. C and full on british sunshine, the temperature under the roof skin will probably reach 60 deg. C after a couple of hours on a still day

I have had my thinking cap on and come up with an even better answer.

Drawing pins.

No thanks necessary.
