Default valve stem seal

i got a 2wd saph wich has started to smoke a bit been told valove stem seals as the car drives fine what is the best oil additive that will make the smoke less or disssapear any suggestion would be great and place where to buy it from as i dont really want to take head off as its almost on last skim cheers

You can buy some stuff called LECWEC which expands old seals so may help, as will using the correct oil ie SILKOLENE PRO S which is a 10w/50, as it does not thin out as much as some other oils when hot.
The seals can be done without removing the head if necessary.

same problem, 2.0 pinto engine, how hard is it to change the seals, im guessing just take the rocker cover off (after moving all crap outta way to get it off, remove valve springs and swap seals over?)
all back in

how hard is this job and what would i have to do to the valve springs?? like compressing them etc

Would using a group A gasket mean you might get away without a skim?
