After a mammoth drive over the weekend comin close 2 900miles my saph is lookin so dirty, so just got home from work n decided 2 start cleanin the engine bay, 4 some reason my baileys oil breather has started catchin my bonnet so 2 kill 2 birds with 1 stone i took it off 2 cleanin with the intetion of puttin it back slightly lower,

only problem is ive noticed it contains sludge like stuff, 2 b fair its the first time ive ever moved it in 3 years but is this normal 4 an oil breather 2 do this? im assumin its the same shit u get on top of ur oil filler cap when ur head gaskets gone

It is NO indication at all that the headgasket has gone.
It is due to the temperature of the condensing oil mist inside it, and yes it is normal.

Sweet, didnt think it could have been the heads gasket as i drove such a long way with out a single problem, ta muchly looks like i have another thing 2 clean

yeah tis normal... it does it on the rs aswell i got clear hoses on the breather system so i can see it lol
