Default Do I need to re-face my flywheel to fit 6 paddle clutch?

Been told I need to get my flywheel refaced if I'm to go from standard clutch to Alcon 6 paddle clutch - is this something I really need to go??

I'd do it if it feels rough in any way - you can almost guarantee that if you don't get it skimmed, it'll judder/slip
