Default Got Stg 3 Greens etc, WANT to go Greys

Got T34.63, which on Greens, 3bar, 500i/c etc. is a bit laggy. So, either I go for .48 or .55 housing to reduce lag and make the most of the car as it is, OR I keep the .63 housing and go for more power - no guesses which route I'm favouring most

So, to go with Greys, I need of course Greys, plus what, just new chip to suit greys and standard compression?

Get a chip off Stu,he can do u one for your spec for greys with closed loop(so no bore wash issues)

Keep the .63 and u should see 380bhp holding 28 psi

Or stick a BD 14 inlet and see 400 to 420 bhp

All this depends on how good your engine is

Cheers Costina, I like the sound of 400-420

You have any idea about price for the cam and setup?

You will need valve cutouts in the pistons to fit a BD14 cam

Ok well having just had bottom end rebuild with standard pistons, I'll have to forget the cam and stick with the normal ones

Not quite true

If you have a near std head and use a triple layer gasket you can get away with it, you will have to dummy build to check for clearances first..

BUT when doing this way on std springs keep the rev limit to under 7k

It is better to use cut outs as Steve says, but there are many users on here with BD14 inlet cam and no cut outs

One guy on here has just over 400 bhp on greys using BD 10's
