The best springs you can buy are Ahmed Bajoo spec Leda springs, i have just fitted a set to my 4x4 Sapphire & it has transformed it, comfortable yet handles very well to. They are twice the price of most other springs but its worth it.
You can get them through Ahmed at Grove garage, someone on here will have his number, or you can try Mike Rainbird at RandB Motorsport who trades on here.

i run Bilstein springa with Bilstein shox on the front and konis on back.
Bilstein shox shit hot, need to turn the konis up a notch (adjustable) all springs ok, i would advise sorting out the rear diff bushes b4 u do any springs etc, cos once u get good suspension on u notice the play in the old bushes (maybe powerflex it all)
Cheaper than springs, bt soooooooooo much more a better investment (got front end poly bushes, wish id done back too)

If you want stiff them coilovers are stiff!!
I have used chassis dynamic std ride height springs and they were not that stiff, was thinking they could do with being a bit harder.

The 4x4 Saph Ahmed springs lower the car by 20-30mm, not a lot really, i hate having low suspension as its a pain with traffic calmingso the Ahmed ones suit me. I ran Coilovers on my 3dr Cossie as it was mainly a track car & Koni's were far to soft on track but the coilovers ruined the ride quality on the road.
