draining the fuel tank

Default draining the fuel tank

hi guys

what would be the best way to drain the tank. i have the pump which you can put into the tank and it sucks it out. could i also use the in tank pump to help aswell.

is there any other ways apart from dropping the tank.

jack the car up and undo the 15mm ID pipe between the tank and the pump - don't get fuel in your eyes, though - it stings

i take it the pipe in near the fuel tank under the car.

you'll see the fuel pump and fuel tank if you have a look under the car - then the pipe'll be obvious
