Rear bump stops/spring platforms
How do I remove the rear bump stops/spring platforms - the ones that hang from the chassis legs?
Also do i need them if coilovers are fitted?

If you are fitting coilovers to the rear you may need to do a bit of bashing around the turret area, some need it some don't.
A lot of people mention about reinforcing the top of the shock mounts, I would if rallying but otherwise I have not, and have done extensive towing of very heavy things with no problem.

have a look, the wall section of the body steel at the top mount is not very thick at all.
also coilovers arnt the most comfortable ride, my mate has a set in
his ek civic, i can only cruz around in his car for bout half an hour before i have to get out and give my back a breather due to the harshness of the
ride, but on the other side it handles like its on railway tracks at high speed.
