Good man for carrying a fire extinguisher, but it can't be the cars fault that you accidentally left the leads where they could catch ?
I have done worse so am not criticising, just don't want you to get rid of the car, hope it did not do too much damage ?

AUSTRIA
THANKS!
Hmmm, i´d say I like living in Austria... glad to be in such a nice country
But I don´t know how it is to live in England
I did like staying in England for the shows, but that was always only for a few days...

Every car should have a fire extinguisher from the factory - esp Turbo cars.
Even if it isn't your car, ho many of us have seen one beginning to go up and seen the iwner either doing nothing or twatting the flames with a jacket (or suchlike).
For the sake of £10-£20 from Halfrauds - you've got relative peice of mind

I carry a couple of hundred quids worth of Lifeline extinguisher in my car - 2kg handheld one. Same stuff they use in WRC cars. ABC powder ones are around £30 but honestly, if its a fuel/oil fire - you'd probably stand more chance of physically beating it out with an ABC one...
Not an area i was prepared to skimp on after being in a high speed car fire

Has got me thinking about this too really. For a the sake of a few quid as said. Will give interesting responses though from friends getting in my car:
"Err why do you have a fire extinguisher in your car?"
"In case it catches fire...DUH!"
Should fill them with confidence and hopefully stop asking for lifts
