Valve Springs
When is it really neccessary to upgrade the std Cosworth valve springs?
About which cam lift and engine rpm?
I'm going to run a bd 14 inlet and about 7500 Rpm, do i need other uprated (double) valve springs?
Regards,
Bas

How much power are you aiming for? If you are running high boost pressure, the valves will not close on higher revs with just standard springs. I use an inner spring from Audi. Works perfect and they are cheap too. Just drop in, no mods.

I'm aiming for 480-500 bhp.
I see a lot of people over here who are giving their specs, and i don't always see the valve springs.
And the BD14 doesn't have that much lift so i was wondering if it's really nesseccary????

Bas
