Default Ahmed Spec springs - who's got them fitted

As per title, is it worth paying the extra money for these springs? Do they make that much of a difference with the koni's?

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Just read your sig That will be a yes then

Did you have different springs with the koni's before? are they really worth double the money of the other regular springs?

How much are they chaps?
Also do they lower the car at all?.
I currently have Konis and Chassis Dynamics Springs.
I'm certainly on the lookout for the best springs
Don't really want to go to coilovers though.

I put Chasis Dynamics supplied by PJ on the car along with the Koni's.

I saw the car at Central Day but you were not around, looked good on the comps, glad you are looking after her mate

from what i have read, they do lower the car, but not by much, they can be bought through Mike Rainbird at £160 from his website

i don't know what springs are fitted at the moment as iv'e only had the car 2 weeks, its got Koni's but slammed to the deck & handles like shit, feels like the springs are not allowing the dampers to damp properly + when you brake from high speed the arse is in the air & squerms about, nowhere near as good as the setup i had on my 3dr.

Got the Ahmed springs fitted yesterday & boy what a difference, when i bought the car it was slammed to the deck & was horrible, with the Ahmed springs it sits just right & even with quite worn Koni's it is so much more comfortable & less twitchy on bumpy roads, its actually quite nice to drive now
