There is nothing technical about the ABS very simple system.
Sensors pick up rotational speed of all four wheels and if not all within set amount, open valves in abs valve unit to reduce pressure in that particualr circuit(wheel), (very simplified version).
They(abs) do have faults but I would suggest leaving it a while as with a worn bearing the wheel will have been trying to list/tilt, and in so doing would have imparted a side wear onto pad, which will wear off before too long, then they will sit perfectly flat against the disc again.

Thanks for the info there was no play in the wheel bearing though. It had worn on the hub.Im gonna have a look at it on friday nite.I think the osf sensor is faulty cause i checked for resistance n there was none at the sensor n i compared it with the other side (nsf) which had some resistance.Gonna swap sensor over with my old 1 n try n bleed the brakes.

Fingers crossed i think ive sorted my car out the reason my brake pedal is soft is cause of the wheel bearing was worn n the pads have worn uneven. The old bearing must have a bit of play in at after all.

Well i did the same on my old sierra 2.0 rwd i put a new bearing in on the nsf n about a month later there was a grinding noise coming from the same side. The brake disc was catching the caliper.Jacked car up n the bearing had loads of play in it.So i went 2 A scrap yard n got a complete hub assembly. It was ok after that.
