saff starting problems
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated
I've tried searching the site for other people that may have had similar problems but cant find anything
The car will start fine if it hasn't been used for a few days,
it will also start fine for about 15 minutes after it has been used and switched off,
However if i leave it for more than 15 minutes, an hour say, it struggles to start, it will turn over and over then just about catch, then after a bit of a splutter it will run fine. It also does this if i have used it late the night before and try to start it first thing in the morning,
Like i say any pointers would be great

So long as you are in a quiet area you will hear the BUZZ of the prime, for about 2 seconds, although fuelling(pump run) should also start once you have starter on anyway.
Some non prime can be caused by the CPS signal as if this is bad it will cause all sorts of intermittant problems, but not normally like you are having.
When was the fuel filter last changed ?
Mine when I got my car was 12 years old despite being owned by two cossie garages, "specialists" they called themselves.
