Default racetech gauges help needed pls

ive just wired up a water temp and oil pressure gauge in my cossie but they dont seem to operate properly. ran the wires as per diagram switched live to radio, earth straight to the battery and then a wire from the sender to the gauge but with the ignition on number 1 position the gauges go straight to the end of the scale and then when you turn ignition to number 2 position they go down to zero. have i missed something obvious or are the gauges fooked, cheers mike

Switched live to radio ?
If the guages are reading full scale they are getting full voltage.
Rechecke the connectuions at the guages, they do not need to go to earth, they need a feed thatvis live in pos 2 only, not pos 1, and make sure that the senders are connected onto the correct terminal at the guages.
