i had the same problem, i cut the oil pressure switch just above the nut drilled through and tapped a thread in the middle, worked for me

i bought spa digital gauges and had to put the new sensor some where, so i turned the original switch in to an adapter, by cutting it in half, and i used a tapered tap the same thread as my new sensor, once tapped i screwed the old sensor back in block then screwed the new sensor in to the back of it, it then misses the oil filter by bout 15mm

I used a ring type whitch is bolted where the oil filter goes and the oil filter goes on the top of it..
It has 4 holes around it where you can choose where to connect the sender unit for pressure and the temperature and 4 taps (you use only 2 if you connect 2 gauges) in order to seal the remaining holes.
Make sure you are going to use some teflon tape so as not to have oily situations like I had the first time.
This suppose to be most secure way.
