Default Analysis of compression test???

The car is question is my friends 2wd saff, it has 126,000 on the clock, the tappets are a bit noisey and when revved you can see white/grey smoke from the exhaust. As far as I know the compression pressure should be 8.5 bar. I let the car reach normal working temp, then took each plug out in sequence and inspected it and down inside the cylinder with a torch before carrying out the compression test.

Cylinder 1:
Plug - Black, wet looking
Piston - Black, wet looking
CP - 10.8 Bar

Cylinder 2:
Plug - Black/brown, dry looking
Piston - Black, dry looking
CP - 10.9 Bar

Cylinder 3:
Plug - Black/brown, dry looking
Piston - Black, wet looking
CP - 10.2 Bar

Cylinder 4:
Plug - Black/brown, dry looking
Piston - Black, wet looking
CP - 10.5 Bar

Yeah I was expecting worse to be honest, but surly the excess pressure (over 2 bar in some cylinders) must be caused by somthing. I was expecting to see lower compression pressure than It should be due to bore wear. Perhap the worn tappets are allowing excessive valve clearance or worn guides/seals are allowing oil to leak into the cylinders.

According to Autodata the compression pressure should be 8.5 bar and some of the cylinders have more than 2 bar in excess of this.
