Default Turbo identifcation?

How can you tell the difference between the different turbos fitted to the YB just by looking - T3, T34, T4 etc

T3 is tiny....t34 is bigger...and T4 is even BIGGER

Comparing the t3 to the t34/35 from the 4x4 range, the t34/35 has a mounting lug for the actuator cast into the compressor housing on the left as you look at it. The T4 has the actuator in the same place as a little T3 but is obvisouly much larger visualy compared to either of the other two.

Actualy, if you go thru my restoration pics you'll see a pick of a t35 fitted to my engine when i dropped the engine back into the bay, then furthur down you'll see the T4 ive fitted...compare the turbo size difference in those pics m8. Click on the link.

The T35 I had was a hybrid using a .48 exhaust housing, thats why the actuator isnt mounted in the original casting on the compressor housing.
