Handbrakes are for poofs.

Hydraulic with all new stainless steel lines through entire car.

The handbrake does have a thing to hold it so if you're on a hill and need to get out of the car but want to leave it running.

Not sure what MOT requirement is for handbrakes. I'm in the US. But here's a pic of the handbrake I am using. Note it has a parking brake type option. But there is no option for a cable engaged parking brake.

Front are 285mmX25.4mm. 4 X 1.62" caliper FSL caliper.

Dual master setup with 0.70 and 0.75" master's.

Did not see the location, so don't know about your regs, I thought that there was no official MOT in some states ?

We have a fairly easy to pass biannual emissions test in Colorado and that is about it.

Brake balance will be via a dual master cylinder setup. Custom bracket and modified bell. US cars all had rear drums as well.

End result is nearly identical braking force (theoretical numbers) to the Group A Escort WRC cars with only a slight increase in input force (73 lbs. vs. 70 lbs.) Actual result will be tested in a few months.
