Default best wheels for a 3dr??

just seen paul @ north york spares post in the alloy wheel section.

got me thinking what is the best wheels for a 3dr?

i quite like the 6 spoke mo's in white but dont fancy 18s on my car.

changed back to standard rims for the time being while i make up my mind! dont mind spending 500-1000 but dont want to make the wrong choice!

any opinions? and pics?

if you have or going for coilovers, youd be better off with a slightly wider offset, chances are with a 8J wheel, the tyre might be really close to the coilspring. et35 will do, but preferably 30 (but you'll have to do some archwork) +it adds to the looks of the car.
@ the rear, well et 30 or 25 will do with a 8 or 9J rim, some fat tyres accordingly to complete the job. and again some archwork

That's pure sex right there lamb chops!
You must be pretty happy with those mate.
Just a question though, what size and width are they mate and are they a straight swap onto your 3 Door without any rubbing?.

I know where there's a set of 18" BBS touring car centre lock split rims and nuts and hub adapters for sale, not cheap but they are the best wheels for a 3door in my opinion
