Default Brake Upgrade

Anybody have any experience with 3dr brake upgrades, I want to keep the original wheels but would like an improvement in braking, was thinking of getting some calipers with larger pad area and fabricating some brackets to use on std size discs, or maybe if ST170 discs if they are same offset I would need to measure inside wheel to see if maybe these would fit with a better caliper, maybe focus RS brembos but as I don't have access to any parts cannot do any measuring, just wondered if anyone has made any mods without changing the wheels or if any great improvement can be made

Thanks

You can definately rule out the FRS Brembo's mate, they won't fit behind standard wheels. I reckon you'll struggle to upgrade size/caliper anyway.

Best bet may be some uprated discs and pads, but it's up to you

As said as you are keeping the std wheels, can't go any bigger.
Best bet is some different pads, like EBC REDSTUFF, and either drilled or grooved discs.
