I'm not speaking with any authority here but my guess would be that you'll get away with the head being just below spec on a stock engine (ie. standard boost etc) or when using it on a NA set up. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will speak up.

There is only a .46mm difference, your engine will not even notice it has been skimmed.
Cossie cams not high lift as turboed, head max is for dealers who can rip you off replacing head when others would just use it without any problems, christ carbon build up will be loads more than this, stop worrying.

i would use a triple layer head gaskit and that would give you the clearance you need

There are many options to a low head thickness:

Multi layer gasket
have the head comp chambers machined and valves sunk
low comp pistions(with cut outs if using BD14's or above)

BUT ported heads can become very thin when skimmed below the min thickness...

there are people out there selling (unskimmed heads ) which have been welded and remachined look out for water jackets which are a irregular shape

At least DIY porting a cossie head is easy, and effective as is opening out the very restrictive exhaust ports, where the bridge is, then ISKY springs if running after market ecu /

yep wouldnt worry bout it if running stock engine, all that will
happen is the compression ratio will raise a little, on the upside less lagg
on the downside you may have to knock the turbo boost back a couple psi
,anyways .46mm lower then recommended is an ants cock mate. youll be algud
