Where does a 3 door rust?
Hi,
I am in the fortunate position of just having bought my dream car since I was 17, an unrestored excellent condition 3 door moonstone cossy. I'm just going over the car rust proofing it, and was just wondering which bits in particular I need to be paying attention to.

20 yr old car,your tin of wax oil aint going to stop it,inner wings, baulk head splits,door posts behind wings,rear chassis legs ,lot of rust not visable till dash removed,check door to front wing gap,this gives clue to how good inner wing baulk head is,thats iff it hasnt had front wings

Just inspected mine, with all plastics off, engine out, dash out, only thing that needed repair was the left hand rear wheelarch who is starting to let go, so pretty pleased with the old car
