I have just bought a header tank for my 4x4 saff, it turns out that it is a 2wd tank, other than the hoses being a different size, will this make any differance??

Ford still do an adaptor kit for 2wd to go 4wd mate - apart from the location though the pipes work the same as before, Fords just bends differently. The hole for the level sender ain't there in a 4wd, but only the 3 doors had the sender anyway - 2wd saffs had a blank plate in that location.

Long story to say it should be straightforward

My mate had a 4x4 header tank on his 3dr with no problem so i dont see any problem with the other way round

if you want a 4by4 one i have 1 its been on my 3 door for a year.will do you a swap for you 2wd it you like??

Standard ford item ,i would have to look to be sure ,but wouldnt have thought so
