Default sapphire missfire please help!!!

Hi everyone im new to the forum, but i was told you were the people to speak to.
I have a 1989 2wd sapphire cosworth, i took it out for the 1st time in a month or so today and it seems to of aquired a violent missfire, popping bagging etc. the car ticks over fine and can be driven gently but as soon as the throttle opens up and its get to about 3000 rpm world war 3 stets off. Iv checked all the usual, plugs leads dizzy cap etc but still no joy, i left the car to cool and after changing the plugs i brayed it up the road and it went spot on with out a missfire but as soon as it got up2 temp it started to miss and seems to get worse.
Please help me!!!

Look at the CONNECTOR for the CRANK POSITION SENSOR, let engine idle and do the wiggle test, these are a favourite to give problems, just got off and put another m/f AMP connector on if needed.
It could also be the PHASE SENSOR as this is a bit that they skimped on the wiring for and used crappy wire that goes brittle bakes itslef to due to poor dizzy design and insukltation cracks and falls off.
Replacement ones fortunately are done properly with decent wire insulation.

Group A coil won't do any harm, also make sure none of the small vacuum pipes around the inlet side has come loose.
