Hello

whats the differnace between a standard and GrpA head gasket?

as mine has gone but i bought a GrpA gasket off a mate agessss ago

but it looks the same as the 1 i took off, which i fink is a standard gasket!!

any help welcome please

Look at front upper face of gasket and you will see YBO611 on the group a if you look carefully it is tamped but not very clear.
Group a is a better material but looks the same, made by VICTOR REINZ, they are quality GERMAN gaskets, and good as they take up some deviation in block surface due to their FIBROUS NATURE, as opposed to steel etc.
