clutch release bearing for a 2wd sapphy
since buying my 2wd sapph just over a year ago , i changed the clutch release bearing form the whiney rattling one i bought it with, then the 2nd one went the same way! then after a blown up gearbox ..... i bought a recon'd box new clutch assy (3 parts including the rlease bearing).... now 2 months down the line the 3rd bearing has gone rattly and whiney
please can anyone shed some light on why this keeps happening? or how to prevent it?

The whine is normal for some but usually does not affect life, it is because the pedal adjuster causes a very small amount of pressure on bearing, as it adjust a touch too much.
I had a chronic rattle which I THOUGHT was coming from the clutch area, but cured it by putting the rubber boot surrounding the cable in the gearbox square hole where it enters on correctly.
The clutch operating arm was rattling on the bell housing outer where it goes through, may be worth a look.
