yes but if i get the roughly the same amount of money breaking it then theres no hassle
but if i sell it complete then you get people timewasting and saying this is wrong and that is wrong
if you get what i mean

It's a shame to break it, but I can understand if you're really sick of it

It seems these days you'll get more for breaking it than selling it as a complete car, it's a shame stuff has gone this way

Me neither, I don't know much about them. I know a fair bit about Escort turbos and CVH's in generally but the Cossie YB is just a dark art to me lol

Looks a nice car though mate, I'd see how it gets on first, might fly through

They're a steep learning curve, the only real trouble with me is I don't have another car and need a car for work etc.

If it's just given me a few months off from problems I'd have a different outlook right about now

I drive brand spanking new Vauxhalls every day thru being a Vauxhall techy/mot tester...wouldnt call them lovely tho when compared to a sorted cossie.....more like bland forms of transport. Its just the winter blue's getting you down regards the saffy...keep it till summer then re-assess the situation

Sorry mate but i've got to take a hard line with this,

How the fook is it less hassle stripping a car down and selling each bit individually than selling it all in one go as a complete car, baffles me

just have no hassle of waiting for people to come to view the car and then saying ill give you this or that
i hate it when they say they are coming and then never turn up or think your a right twat and sell it for £2000 less than the asking price
thats my only reason why i said its less hassle to strip it
you take the parts off and sell them
no hassle
only in stripping it
which sometimes can be fun i suppose

your about to take on way more hassle taking off each part individually and looking for buyers for each one, what if someone askes you for the gearbox or the black dash, imagine the hassle just taking out those parts alone??i'd hold out and wait for a buyer,it'll get the money in your hand a lot quicker imo, plus if you getting the money bit by bit for each part you might spend a bit of it along the way(if youre anything like me),plus it'll take weeks at least to get all your money back for parts,as opposed to getting in one lump sum inside a week or so if you advertise the car complete.plus it looks far to nice to scrap.

i know what your saying mate and in a way i agree
ive got it up for sale so ill give a week and see what happens
have got a few people wanting some parts at a good price already so ill have to wait and see if it sells complete
it is way to nice to break up but if thats where the money is so be it

at the end of the day you're right that if more money comes from parts then so be it!how much are you asking for it complete anyway?

i have some parts with it but havent a clue on how to fit them so ill leave it to someone who does
