How to repair cracked cosworth bumpers
I took my bumper to a plastic bumper welder to get some changes made to it. He said its not plastic and did not know how you could work with it.... He said there are quite a few Ford bumpers made out of this stuff.
Can these bumpers be welded at all, does any one know what they made of ... and how you can modify / change them. I wanted to cutout one damaged piece and put another in....

I had mine welded my 3 door thinking I was doing the right thing rather than just "bogging" it up... After I forked out big bucks the guys told me that they are a injected carbon... I know when I rubbed them down to paint they didnt ball up like a plastic bumper but they rubber nice and smooth.
I could have just put a fibreglass patch on there in the end!!
