Now you know the shell, you should know the condition. The shell is very solid all round and it actually perfectly geometrically straight and true, as proved on a wheel alignment machine. The bits where it is starting to show its age again are under the bonnet. Small parts of paint have flaked off around the fuse box and on the drivers side inner wing around the engine mount and header tank. There is also small parts of rust coming through on the slam panel by both headlights and under where the VIN plate should be. Pictures of all this are below.
The rest of the shell is fine so consider this shell as needing a bit of small paint work, which would not be a major problem seeing as the engine would not be in place. If you are being fussy you might want to think about painting inside the boot and the back of the rear panel as this was never painted in the restoration. The roof and the exterior paintwork is spot on. Any inspection is welcome for people who are seriously interested. Like I said above, I want the shell sold before I commit to begin to strip the car so I am being as honest as possible with every part listed. There are also a few stone chips on the bonnet and the rear arches, plus a couple of chips on the wings which have been touched in.

I’m looking for around £1500 for the bare shell and the roll cage, but with things like the carpets and some of the riveted panels in the rear, all glass, doors bumpers etc.
If you want a rolling shell with the suspension parts then let’s talk.
Number plate is NOT included with the shell, E16 RST - £1000 + DVLA fees
