I have a former 1.6 MK3 carb engine which has been modified to 1.9. all work was undertaken by a local company in birmingham and have the recipts for £1400. The engine was used for only three months until a joy riding upstart wanker destroyed the front end. The engine has sat for a few months but ran fine before it was removed. Engine comes complete with all andcilaries, including breather system and will run all you need is a gearbox. Will fit in MK3/MK4 without too much bother and goes like the stink. I am looking for around £200 for the item otherwise I think I might just have to turbo the fucker and have some fun.

The work was completed by a local engine rebuilders in birmingham. From what I understand the engine had been bored out to 1900cc new pistons, rings, main bearings crank bearings. The crank may have been lightened and balanced. I have the receipt for the work.

engine complete comes with all ancliairies e.g. alternator starter etc.

If i aranged a pick up of the engine, could u pack it on a pallet? Have u got a pic of the engine?

it is a N/A item with a carb.

What do you mean its N/A? what kind of carbs on it? XR2?

n/a means normally aspirated ie no turbo. think the carb is from a xr2 rejetted for the 1.9

Brilliaint, think al put twin 40`s on it anyway. I will find out on monday when they can pick it up, would a postal order be ok for payment?
