Full throttle causes loss of drive and high revving?
Hi,
Got a 2002 1.7 puma with 98,000 on the clock. I'm trying to determine weather I have a slipping clutch or a knackered Throttle cable or Throttle sensor. The clutch is very smooth and I have no problem shifting through the gears or pulling away, However if I push the throttle more than half way in any gear higher than 2nd the car just revs away with little or no power going to the wheels. It goes back to normal after a while. I'm not getting any excessive revs at idle though like I've read on other threads.
Any imput would be very welcome!
