If the 1.7 injectors are larger than the ones from the 1.4, the engine is overfueling.
Why did you change the injectors? Any other changes?

I changed the spark plugs and i did a ram air intake. But i guess isnt enough to burn all fuel in the chamber.

No need to change injectors unless you are running forced induction etc and the original injectors can't supply enough fuel.

Put the standard ones back in.

The injectors will do fuck all. If you want 1.7 power, fit a 1.7 engine...

the 1.7 injectors are flowing to much as the ecu thinks there stock injectors, To correct this you would need a remap or a piggyback ecu but all it will do is drop the flow back to stock meaning $800 and your still at sq 1 with the same power. Best thing to do is refit old injectors before you damage the engine..

As for mods if i was you upgrade to a 1.6 engine, needs very little to upgrade and very cheap.
