Heated Front Screen Fuse

Do i need a special type of fuse for the heated front scrren as i have replaced it twice in the last 3 month with ones from Halfords.

shouldnt do... although i had a fault on mine which melted the relay into the fuse box, turned out to be a dodgey earth, kept blowing fuses every time i pressed the brake pedal and meant i have to run a new wire from the brake light switch... strange how they are linked
