Default Advice on chassi/suspension mods

Hi Im thinking of using a Puma or a Mx5 for cheap tarmac rallys what can be done to improve handling? Ive read about omp lower strut brace improving handling under breaking and 300mm front brakes. What about rear brakes?
Thanks
Hamish

300mm front brake kit is a great mod for the puma, as is the lower strut brace, fit a full set of polybushes some slightly lowered suspension and you'll have a great handling car.

As for the rear brakes, the drums will be ample if youve got a 300mm kit up front but if you feel the need for more (like i did) then you can fit a range of rear disc conversion, Fiesta ST or anything of a 4 stud focus inc RS, even an old RS2000 will fit with the 2 pot calipers, but these are abit old and nakered now, best and easiest option is the Fiesta ST.

hope that helps
