Resprayed Mk3 Escort + LOADS + LOADS of RS parts job lot
Hi I am selling my unfinished project. The build thread link is below. You all know way more about these things than me but this is a perfect job lot for any goal.
Its almost all there just to be humpty dumptied back together again by someone with more time and space (and money) than me
The shell and parts are all in good condition so this would be a perfect reshell.
Finally there is probably some value to buy this all and break it if you have better avenues to shift it than myself.
I am looking to sell this as a job lot, the shell is sealed and rolling but no engine so will need trailered. The parts I have will probably need a van or large 4x4 and the 1600 CVH engine is currently bolted in a stand.
My preference for my own ease is sell all together but if I do not receive a suitable offer in a short period of 2 weeks or so I will consider breaking individually. Please do not bombard the thread with offers to buy this and that I will change the thread heading when I am considering breaking. But if you want to message me directly to register an interest in this or that I am happy to get back in touch on a first come first server basis if it comes to that.
I honestly hoarded so much stuff and its currently split between three places but I will list the high lights here. Read the build thread for other information.
The shell
Original shell is a 1.1 popular Mk3 Escort. B reg. V5 present and car is sorned.
Shell had rust cut and replaced and battery tray replaced and was knocked over with Rosso Red.
Front windscreen was replaced.
All glass present and installed. All rubbers ok.
original bumpers plus colour matched RS1600i bumpers with overiders
Spots and fogs (unknown if working)
All standard lights plus clear indicator lenses
RS1600i front splitter and rear spoiler
All RS1600i bonnet, side and boot decals
Set of rear spats

Engine, running gear and wheels
Engine that was in it has been scrapped.
All ancillaries are standard unless stated
I have a 1600 CVH engine on engine stand although I do not have a crane engine was bough from ebay from a break and was apparently a runner although to be brutally honest it has been on the stand for 2 years
RST discs and caplipers with clips
Paco silencer but no manifold or midesection
I have some 2nd hand Kone coil overs very rough
1600 drive shafts
Heres the good bits I have a machined CVH inlet manifold to fit the supplied sonically cleaned ZX6r carbs with a zeplin air filter and bracket.
4 x 15 inch RS 7 spoke alloys, repaired and resprayed in a dark charcoal colour with centre caps and locks
4x 14inch RS 7 spoke alloys with Pirelli tyres with centre caps
4x 13inch steels and tyres
Interior
NO ORIGINAL RS1600i SEATS
RST red piped recaro seats front and back in relatively excellent condition
XR3i red piped door cards and door tops + match rear cards
RS1600i plain grey door cards and door tops + matching rear cards
all grey carpets and some sound proofing
Leather RS 3 spoke steering wheel with rubber centre cap
Standard 1.1 clocks + 1600 clocks with white dials and red needles
Numerous door seals
Plastic centre console (around gear stick)
Loads of plastic interior trim plus all the original trim from the popular
Anyone who has sourced parts for Fords can see the value of this lot if broken. Significant investment in this lot
I am looking for offers in the region of Ł2000 for the lot but dont be scared to offer as my goal is to sell
