crank sensor bracket mk3 130 tdci
Hi chaps, got issues with my Mondeo. The car has full service history and cut out the other week, the car was running fine before.
So after reading many posts I changed the cam sensor (genuine ford), no change
Changed the fuel filter, no change
changed the crank sensor (aftermarket), no change but I broke the bracket!!
The car will start and rev to 1300... then bounces and eventually dies if you try hard enough... it will get to temp just wont rev
what is the easiest way to change this, I know the bell housing has to come off... but I need the easiest solution guys.
I can still get the sensor to remain in place if I wedge the broken bracket on the outside of the remaining bit and tighten it up still but the car still wont start
It had 230 BAR FRP on tick over... cranking is 1300BAR
So its not the fuel pump, leak of test was ok.
Any solutions to the issues, any help wold be great
Thanks steve
