Hi folks, This is the first car I've had with abs braking and I've not had to use it in anger (yet)!
I understood though, that the rear brakes took a bigger share of the braking load in normal stopping, with the antilock facility preventing any premature lock-up, compared with the non antilock system.
If this is the case, why are the rear brakes as bad as usual with the drums hardly getting warm at all? Just as with the older system.
Also, the pedal pressure is quite large, although it stops well enough with a firm push.
My previous non abs Ka was better in this respect, so is this normal for the 2007 model?
