Flat spot at 3000RPM

Flat spot at 3000RPM
My wife's Focus mk 1 2.0 16v has a flat spot on hard acceleratiing at 3000rpm.
If accelerated gently there is no flat spot.
plugs appear okay on inspection,coil pack has been changed no difference, new leads a year ago, new fuel fliter no change, different throttle body no change,new throttle body sensor no change. Maf checked and no visible problem.
Any suggestions
