Ford Focus 1.6 mk1 1.7 Puma conversion?
Hi guys, I've just bought a 1.6 Focus Flight. Was looking into doing a 1.7 Puma conversion. Just wondered if anybody's done it on here, and how simple it is? I can get the 1.7 lump and 'box for around £300 with 80k miles. Will the loom, ECU etc be okay, or will I need to change those as well? Including drive shafts?
Cheers, Tom.

I asked the same question a few years ago. The answers I got were that the systems are slightly different especially the dash and ECU and locking system in the car. so I did not bother with it because of the VVT etc. it be better to put your money into a 2.0 or st170 or a likewise conversion. Personally id save your money for a better car chap
Thanks
