Central locking pulse wires
I have a 1998 Focus MK1 CL RHD (UK) In which I replaced the GEM a few years ago to add remote central locking.
I am now looking to adding a Coming home and Leaving home control box so that the lights come on when I unlock car and also remain on for 20 seconds after turning ignition off or locking the doors.
In order to fit this unit, I need to know which wires are the pulse wires for the central locking.
I think the Focus is negative pulse (correct me if I'm wrong) but It'd be great if someone could tell me what the wire colours and pin numbers are of the pulse wires at the GEM (assuming this is where they run from). Also, if you know it, which one of these wires is the lock and which is the unlock wire.
I've got the Haynes manual but I really can't tell from the circuit diagrams.
Any help will very much be appreciated.
Thanks.
Samantha.
