Default Finally! Refurbished my alloys :)

So i have a set of MP3 alloys, they were fairly damaged from previous owners, but i finally got around to refurbishing them.

First gave them all a good wash and sanded them down, then another clean.

Filled in all the damage, this one was the worst of them all

Wet sanded the filler

After wet sanding all the filler, got them all masked then use a high build filling primer to fill in the smaller imperfections/scratches on the wheels.

I gave it a quick wet sand, then another coat of high builder primer, then again another wet sand. (I found out that sanding is boring ) Then gave it a base grey primer before paint.

While they were drying, i got bucket full of hot water and left the rattle cans in there to get nice and warm so paint will nice and shinny for when it's sprayed.

Put a few layers on, making sure there was an even coverage,

Once that coat had dried, i stuck another 2 coats. Waited 6 hours so that the paint was fully cured, then had the lacquer warmed and eventually finished with 3 coats.

This is the finished result!
