Default Removing rear light cluster off a mk 1 focus!

I need to change my back brake light but can't for the life of me get the light cluster off. I don't want to be to forceful and brake it. Any tips please?

the nuts are normally plastic and there should only be 2 of them

otherwise you may find that they are 10 or 11mm nuts on the back

the light units should then just slide out backwards

it was much easier when you could change the bulbs by simply removing the cover from inside and swapping bulbs on the rear

as above there is a hand twist nut thingy inside the boot towards the bottom of the light housing then a screw about halfway up the light just to the side of the light then the light is held in place at the top by a peg that pushes into a plastic clip/holder mine was a right bugger to remove thought i was going to break it if you wiggle the light side to side it eventually comes free
