focus st170 timing belt
So a week or 2 back my timing belt went and skipped a good 10 teeth engine cutout and caput. Suspecting valve damage i decided to take the head off strip it and sent it to the machine shop.
Came back with all 8 inlet valves bent and 2 exhaust valves bent. Got all that sorted inc. Shimming lapping etc. But now am reluctant to fit the new head on. Whats the likelyhood of a crack or some damage to the block in this situation bearing in mind the head underwent a full crack test which came back negative?
I have a 2002 focus st170 which is a 2.0L duratec block.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Should be fine. If it's done any damage it will be to the piston ring lands.
Just stick it back together and hope for the best unless you plan on pulling the engine.
